Join the Old Hickory Regulators for our monthly SASS Fun Shoot! This laid-back event is perfect for both seasoned shooters and newcomers to the sport. Dust off your cowboy boots, grab your six-shooter, and get ready for a day of shooting, fun, and Old West adventure.

Event Highlights:

• Casual Shooting Stages: Enjoy simple and fun stages designed to give you a taste of classic Old West scenarios. Compete with revolvers, rifles, and shotguns, or take it easy with a .22 LR rifle or revolver.
• No Gear? No Problem: If you’re curious about cowboy action shooting but don’t have the equipment, we’ve got you covered! We’ll provide .22 LR rifles and revolvers for you to try out—just bring your own .22 LR lead-nose ammo and a box of 12-gauge light target shells (1 oz loads) if you’d like to shoot.
• Period Costumes Optional: While dressing in Old West attire is encouraged, this event is all about having fun—costumes are optional.
• All Ages and Skill Levels Welcome: Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or brand new to the sport, the SASS Fun Shoot is open to everyone. Bring the family and enjoy a relaxed day of shooting.
• Meet New Friends: Connect with fellow cowboys, cowgirls, and shooting enthusiasts in a more laid-back setting.

What You Need to Know:

• Equipment Requirements: Bring your own firearms or use our .22 LR gear. If you’re borrowing gear, please bring the appropriate ammo (listed above).
• Safety Briefing: All participants must attend a mandatory safety briefing before the shoot begins. Safety is our top priority.
